Squeaky Clean!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved soaps.  I was always fascinated with ones that had special shapes, colors, or scents.  Inspired by my visit to Sonia Says in Athens, Georgia earlier this year, I decided to have soaps created for Zoe.  These will be given as gifts during the grand opening and also as a treat to new customers in the store.

Where does one find custom soap?  In my web search, I found and settled on Carved Solutions, a Vermont owned business focused specifically on creating personalized soaps.  I corresponded with the founder/owner Dawn and we agreed upon a design incorporating Zoe's beautiful Z logo.  I received the soaps today and they are gorgeous!  And they smell wonderful!  I cannot wait to share this little treat with Zoe's customers!

Web designer Mark has had a chance to look at all of the information I sent to him last week and he has not run away screaming! (Yay!)  He told me in today's email that he was very impressed with how "thought through" my business ideas and web ideas were.  We are planning a conference call for later this week so that he can ask some clarifying questions about the information I sent to him.

No news on the lease.  My broker sent me an email on Tuesday morning to say that he hadn't heard anything else.  He's getting quite proactive - probably trying to head off my question before it could come!  I hope to see a first draft by the end of the week.
